How do you write a cover letter when you have one proof line?

Write four lines: the problem in their posting, one question, one proof line copied from your resume, and a close. If the proof is not in the resume, the note is not ready. A four-line note costs 5 tokens. It does not promise a reply.

What can the letter cite?

Only a line you can point to.

A separate ranking for this question was not fetched on 24 September 2026. The shape is the same as the class-project question: the page looks empty because the work is described as an assignment. The class-project guide says to name what you produced. This page says the letter may use that sentence and no other.

What do template letters leave out?

Template letters open with praise for the company and a claim that you are a perfect fit. Neither sentence is in your resume.

A letter that adds a metric the project did not record is the same failure as a resume line that does. We will not supply a percentage to make a thin letter sound senior.

What do the four lines say?

This person is fictional.

  1. Their problem: the posting says the team needs someone to test a flow before it ships.
  2. Your question: which failed cases should a first test plan catch?
  3. Your proof: "Course project: I wrote the test plan and found three cases the demo failed." That sentence is already on the resume.
  4. A close: you can send the plan.

The line we will not write: "I raised conversion 40%." The project did not record that.

What does the tool do with those lines?

The four-line note costs 5 tokens. A full letter costs 7. The proof line has to be in the resume, or the run is not charged. The note does not promise a reply, a callback, or an interview.

We do not know. We do not publish a read rate or a callback rate.

Does the note use a keyword score?+

No. It quotes your resume against their problem. It does not score the page.
